ds_c6d_bigbangWe're now just one week from the due South/C6D Big Bang deadline! Post your finished work to our collection on AO3 on or before August 4, by midnight of the latest timezone, and it'll go on the list of works for complementary creators to pick from.
Although you can continue to edit between posting and go-live, all works must be complete at the time of posting. "Complete" means a finished work that's good enough to be published without any further changes, in the mods' opinion. If you're having problems, speak to the mods! If you miss the deadline, we won’t assign you a complementary creator, but we will keep cheering you on. You can submit your work at the complementary work deadline of October 7 instead and still be part of the collection.
(For those previously banned from complementary signups, now is the time to come and speak to the mods about getting unbanned. This only applies if you've defaulted by no-show at the final complementary deadline in the past and doesn't apply to any primary signups. We will usually ask you to submit your original assignment or an equivalent complementary work before you can sign up as a complementary creator again.)

- Step 1: Log into AO3, go to our collection, select "Post to Collection", fill out the form, preview your work to make sure you're happy with how it looks, and then click "post". Make sure the "Post to Collections/Challenges" field is filled in as "ds_c6d_bigbang_2024". This ensures your work goes into the moderated/unrevealed collection and isn't visible to anyone except you and the mods. If you're not familiar with AO3, this FAQ will walk you through it.
- Step 2: Email the mods at dsc6dbbmod at gmail dot com, listing your AO3 username and the details to be included on the Complementary Claims post: fanwork type, fandom, work title, length, rating and any warnings, relationships, characters, and a summary of up to 100 words. If we don't hear from you, we'll use the details you've put on AO3. Please make sure you include all relevant warnings - i.e. anything in your fanwork that people might find upsetting.
- Step 3: If you want to edit your work after submission and can't find it, go to your AO3 dashboard and select "Statistics". This page should list all your works, including those that are unrevealed or waiting in the moderation queue.
