2016 Sign Up Post

Woohoo - it's the Eleventh of March! And Buck Frobisher thinks that YOU should come sign up for this year's big bang!hazelwho and I are, as always, incredibly excited to be running this again. Seriously. We've been bouncing about it for days. Please don't worry if we don't respond to your sign up right away - we both have work (and I'm maybe taking part of my lunch hour NOW to do this, so yeah, limited time until tonight).
If you have any questions about how this is going to go (which is incredibly similar to the 2015 version, btw), please check out The Rules and FAQ Page.
We will be having both checkpoints and chats again this year. With the exception of our new September check-in for ALL creators, none of these are mandatory, but we encourage you to participate in them. Especially the chats, which in the past were proven to be excellent for brainstorming, moral support, oftentimes hilarious tangents, group therapy and commiseration and everything else you're going to need to get through this. And while we do have dates listed for the chats, they are subject to change (though we'll try not to)- as in previous years they will be either on Saturday afternoon or earlier in the day on Sunday.
Remember, as always, there are no penalties for dropping out. RL happens, writer's/artist’s block (*knock on wood*) happens. If you drop out, we'll give you a hug and hope to see you the next round.
If you are an art-y type, artist specific information can be found at either The Rules or FAQ Page. The definition of "art" is very encompassing - there's probably an "art" of some sort that everyone can do.
Sign-ups for Primary and Complementary fanworks start today, March 11, 2016 and will end March 30, 2016. If more creators for Complementary pieces are needed, a second round of sign-ups will take place at a later date.
If you are signing up for BOTH Primary and Complementary fanworks, please leave a separate comment for each.
